Champions Tour Rules

  • Players must be aged 50 or over to take part in the tour.
  • Every event is run as an official open competition and will count towards your national handicap.
  • Every event will be played from yellow tees and full Stableford scoring will be in place.
  • The field of players will be split in to sections depending upon the spectrum of the handicaps of our entrants.
  • Players must play a minimum of 3 out of the 6 regional events.
  • Every player will play the final at Dundonald Links
  • The players scores from each of their 4 events will combine to complete their tournament score.
  • Every players score at Dundonald Links will count towards their tournament score.
  • The goal is to accumulate the most stableford points over 4 rounds of golf, 3 regional events and the final at Dundonald.
  • The championship will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as laid down by The R&A.
  • Golf in Scotland reserves the right to alter the format at any time.
